Why Choose KISSS Irrigation
Why use KISSS Subsurface Capillary Irrigation?
There have not been vast technological advances with most typical subsurface drip irrigation systems over the past forty years, until now. The KISSS subsurface capillary irrigation system is quickly changing the way people, from all over the world, view subsurface irrigation systems.
Commercial Turf Irrigation Installation
The Specialized KISSS Plow Implement:
KISSS Below Flow Wrap and KISSS Below Flow Flat are installed underground by using the specialized KISSS Plow. Since it can be "plowed" into the ground using our specialized KISSS plow implement it makes installation time and cost much more easy to predict than standard irrigation systems. The plow was engineered to install KISSS below flow systems with minimal disturbance to the existing surface.
Ebb and Flow Mat Installation
PREPARATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS: Some preparatory work needs to be carried out to adapt existing sites to Ebb and Flow Mat. This is a major advantage when compared with other systems where greater attention must be given to leveling and/or changes in benches are required (e.g. to install traditional capillary or ebb and flow systems). Ebb and Flow MAT can usually be installed on top of existing ground cover or benches and overhead irrigation systems left in place if desired.
Below Flow Wrap Capillary Irrigation Installation
Below Flow Wrap can be installed into new or existing areas through trenching or with the specially designed KISSS plow. You can serpentine it around or through bedded areas. The Wrap is connected by a header and footer pipe. Connected to the header pipe coming off of the main line are the EZ FLO fertigation tank, filter, flow meter, pressure regulator and zone valves. At end of the line there are flush valves used for cleaning the system and are utilized as needed depending on the type of water being used in the system.
Benefits of KISSS Below Flow Wrap Irrigation
The KISSS capillary irrigation subsurface system offers many benefits over traditional irrigation systems such as subsurface drip irrigation or sprinklers. The system also eliminates many maintenance issues such as aeration, watering in fertilizers, compacted soil, standing water, and replacing sprinkler heads due to the entire system being subsurface. These benefits make the KISSS system the most advanced irrigation system ever developed in the world.
•The KISSS system is more efficient than overhead systems
•More efficient than drip systems.
KISSS Below Flow Flat Installation
Below Flow Flat is laid in lateral lines according to predetermined spacing that is found using a proprietary soil test that reflects that particular soils capillary action. It is installed using a specially designed plow that carefully makes a precise seam in the soil, lays the material underneath the sliced seam, and then closes the seam.
How Below Flow Flat Capillary Irrigation Works
The KISSS system works by pulsing water through the lateral lines for several minutes a few times a day at a very low pressure between 6 and 32 psi. The water running through the lines disperses out the pressure compensating emitters, hits the dispersion tape and then is absorbed by the patented capillary fiber. Lateral percolation is reduced due to the polyethylene backing that is exclusive to the Below Flow Flat. This then allows the soil to absorb the water from the capillary fiber at its own rate based on the soils need for water.

KISSS Capillary Irrigation Products
KISSS Subsurface capillary irrigation systems offer a variety of products that are useful in an infinite number of applications. The KISSS system is an all-inclusive system that addresses all of your needs from fertigation to weather controlled system regulation while offering a substantial reduction in water usage. There are many other benefits that the KISSS system can offer to include being more efficient than overhead systems, more efficient than drip systems, eliminates root intrusion, eliminates water run-off, and establishes plant material 20% faster.
KISSS Golf Course Textile Irrigation Installation
The Specialized KISSS Plow Implement:
KISSS irrigation can be plowed into the ground using the specialized patented KISSS Plow implement. The Plow was engineered to install KISSS Below Flow SCI systems with minimal disturbance to the existing surface.
This is a big benefit for golf courses since it allows you to plow the material into a tee box and green with nearly zero evidence of an extensive below ground, environmentally friendly irrigation system being installed.
